Most skyrim modders who downloaded mods which change npc appearances have probably gotten the dark, black, brown, grey, etc. Unp tbbp / cbbe tbbp. Added khajiit and argonian versions of black mage handwraps. This mod adds a store with three merchants to the game.
I'm fond of {black mage armor}, there are cloth, light, and heavy armor versions of a few different robe styles that can be crafted and (as far as i know) enchanted, all in a nice black color scheme.
Craft in smithing bench using tundra cottons, leathers, and linen wraps. The dark brotherhood leather looks great with this change though (i like it with a matte black texture replacer). Adds over 300 sets of clothing for females, (sorry guys, many of the outfits in skyrim have both male and female textures since i don't play a male character, i had no desire to match all of the color variations to both male and female.) Skyrim modding team deleted their patron page. Face bug at some point. There retextured items but still you might want to try out black mage armor se and for your exterior accessories you might want to try bandolier: Horns require bone meal and deer hide.
Special mention goes to ashara's potw outfit because the modular loincloths can fig leaf skimpy male armor conversions. The generic magic apparel page details most magical clothing with the rest found at specialty gear ; The black rose suit that was all the rage in the legendary edition. Some of this gear heavily inspired by tomb raider but u can pick the armor parts yourself and it's great.
As an added bonus, i have made my own slutty/damaged versions of some outfits that didn't have any!

Might be why i was thinking melodic had se mods because i have a bunch in my list. Added higher poly female hands to black mage handwraps. Look the way you want to look, without caring about stats.
